The Application of Blue Economy Principles to the Salt Sector in the Province of East Java, Indonesia

Implementing the salt production process is often counterproductive with reuse of "bittern" for production, which affects quality. But some throw away "bittern", can cause pollution ecosystem, thus contradicting concept blue economy. This study aims to determine implementation economy in sector East Java Province. The research approach uses qualitative methods. Data collection through interviews, observation, and audio visual materials. Qualitative data analysis from Creswell includes processing preparing data, reading cod ing, connecting themes/descriptions, describing themes, interpreting data. results a show that implementing Province zero waste, social inclusion, innovation adaptation, an d multiplier economic effects.
